World's Fair and Third Street

An amazing by-product of attending the world's fair was seeing, for the first time, the 3rd street neighborhood. Alternately beautiful and hostile, there was a lot of industrial decay and general desolateness for a neighborhood surrounded by so many people.




















But despite the bad weather we had some incredible fun. I mean, this is ART.

William Scott was very sweet. He had more energy than most of us.

I have decided to post my pic highlights on a blog instead of sending large albums to everyone I know on Snapfish. Since I tend to go overboard, this is probably good for me. And maybe get me to edit my pics a little more.

My dad and linda came to visit this spring. The weather was crappy, but we had a blast, touring the presidio and the tulip garden in golden gate park.
